The next day, Alex woke up late as rhey went crazy last night. They went for a few more rounds before Alex stopped as Mera literally begged him.
He wasn't very willing but he still stopped as he took to the bath and cleaned up the bed before they slept peacefully.
Next day, Alex woke up with a curtain of red hair on his face. He moved the hair away from his face as he looked down at the sleeping beauty on his chest.
"Good Morning". He said as he patted her head with a smile. He peacefully adjusted his body on the bedrest as he kept patting her head.
Mera tightened her grip on his body as she felt comfortable. Her beautiful was graced with a contented smile.
She just laid there like that for a while but woke up after some time. "Mm, Good Morning". Mera looked and smiled.
"Good Morning". Alex smiled back at her as he kissed her forehead.
"Okay, let's go and get ready". Alex smiled as he picked her up and started walking towards the Bathroom.
"Let's go". Mera nodded as she just laid down in his arms without moving.
After the bath, they walked out arm in arm as they went to the dining room in the palace with full smiles on their faces.
"Guess you guys had a nice day". Arthur laughed as he saw them walking in with smiles.
"Yeah, it was the best". Alex laughed back as he smiled from ear to ear.
Mera on the side was embarrassed as she hit Alex's side with her elbow. Alex grabbed his side and grinned even more widely.
There were only a couple of people present in the dining room. King Nereus, Atlanna, Vulko and Arthur. So there wasn't much of a problem with Alex acting like this.
Everyone laughed heartily at Mera's embarrassment as Alex walked over with her and sat down to begin the meal.
"I'll have to leave today or at most tomorrow". Alex said as he finished his meal and looked at everyone.
"You do what you have to do. Atlantis always welcomes you". Arthur said generously while Atlanna and Vulko expressed their support.
"Next time you come. You have to visit Xebel". King Nereus said as he looked at Alex with a smile.
Everyone was happily chatting with him except one person when they heard this. Alex was aware of this very well.
"I'll see you guys in a bit, let's go". He took his leave and grabbed Mera's hand as he led her out of the room.
"Can't you stay?" Mera asked as she looked at him with a bit of a sad face.
"You know I have to go. After sorting out some stuff. I will come back with my parents this time". Alex smiled as he patted her head.
"Let's enjoy our time while I am here. You can show me around Atlantis". He changed the topic and led her out of the palace.
"Mhmm". Mera nodded as the smile on her face came back a bit.
She swam forward as she bought him to the City square with multiple different fluorescent plants everywhere.
"That is the Hotel, that right there is a fountain though there isn't much of a point underwater". Mera was enthusiastically showing him everywhere.
Alex was also having a lot of fun as he in a Sci Fi for the first time. It was quite magical to him. Hi-tech everywhere.
"Lemme get some souvenirs. Any good place around here". Alex asked as he looked around the square as all the mermen looked at him curiously.
"Follow me". Mera said as she caught his hand and led him to a rather prestigious looking store.
"What about the money tho. I am quite sure that I am poor in your Underwater Kingdoms". Alex looked around at the mermen clothes and other accessories while talking.
"Hehe, You are literally the guest of honour in Atlantis and you still worried about money". Mera laughed as she teased him.
"I guess I did save yo ass. Although I did destroy it later". Alex laughed back as he teased her while winking at a certain place.
Mera blushed as she led him into the store and looked at all the different kinds of clothes and other accessories in the store.
"Let's get this, this and this. This for Bruce, Dad and take this as well". Alex went on a mad spree as he bought everything that looked good to him.
"You got those visors with virtual functions". Alex asked as he packed everything that he liked and had them ship to the Palace.
"Yeah, we can get that as well". Mera nodded as she led the way again.
"Let's get about 10 of them". He counted everyone in his mind and said.
"We can tell that to Arthur. No need to go look for it". Mera shrugged as she told him.
"Alright then let's go somewhere that you like". Alex smiled as took her hand.
"Hmm, okay". Mera nodded as she led him out of Atlantis quickly.
"Are we going for some nature activities?" Alex said with a lascivious smile on his face.
"Shut up". Mera snapped as she had enough of his teasing. 'This guy just doesn't stop'.
They came to a big canyon with loads of sea creatures present inside. Fishes with light bulbs on their heads. Some others with glowing bodies and other different characteristics.
Both of them sat down on the edge of the canyon and looked down at the fascinating sight of Marine creatures peacefully interacting and going about their lives.
Mera had her head on Alex's shoulder as he put his head on her head and and just enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and sat there in each other's company.
"I'll be back soon and next time, I will bring everyone with me". Alex smiled as he just kept looking at the canyon.
"Hmm". Mera nodded as the smile on her face didn't fade away.
Alex bent his head down as he kissed her lips and picked her up on his lap. Mera also closed her eyes as she engrossed herself in the kiss.
They kissed slowly and just enjoyed the feelings behind it with their eyes closed and gripping each other tightly.
"Alright, let's go back. I'll have to leave now". Alex said as he stood up to leave with her.
"Alright let's go". Mera nodded as she stood up and led him back to Atlantis.
