Chapter 14 - 14. Pamela

Alex quickly rammed the accelerator as he sped off towards Pamela's house to pick her up for the party at Barbara's.

Pamela was sweet girl and he met her as a chance before he enrolled into the same school as her when they got acquainted.

——flashpoint paradox——

'I should bring some new flowers today for Mom and Dad's room'. Alex thought as he walked down the streets of Gotham in the evening care freely.

He was strong enough to handle anything that Gotham could dish out his way and he had started his Vigilante career as well. He was a small menace to all the gangs at the moment.

Walking down, he was looking for a good flower shop. 'Hmm, that flower shop looks good and the care taker is also a beauty'. Alex looked at the beautiful girl and walked over.

"Miss, can you recommend me some flowers that represent good health". Alex walked over and asked.

"Hmm, yes please this way". The girl nodded shyly as she led the way inside the store.

'How handsome'. She thought as she secretly peeked at Alex's face from time to time.

"Are you the owner?" Alex asked as he looked around at the shop.

"Ahh no, I am just h-helping m-my friend's mom". The girl said shyly and led him to a section with some peonies.

"Peonies represent good health and have goos colours and smell. I would recommend these if you want". As she talked about the flowers her shyness disappeared and she kept talking on and on.

"I-I'm sorry". Realising her blunder, she quickly apologised and kept her head down.

"No problem at all, you look beautiful when you are confident". Alex complimented sincerely as The girl blushed but smiled sweetly.

"Where are my manners. I am Alexander Wayne and you miss?" Alex gave a noble bow and said. He was trained in etiquettes by Alfred and knew how to conduct himself nobly.

"I-I am Pamela Lillian Isley. Nice to meet you too". Pamela also gave a small bow and spoke shyly.

"Very beautiful name for a beautiful lady". Alex said those corny lines through his teeth without a flinch in his expression.

Pamela didn't retort and smiled sweetly as she liked the compliments Alex was giving her. She was a girl and girls like to get complimented.

"A-anyway, these peonies will be good for your requirements". Pamela pointed towards the flowers as she changed the subject.

'Ah Poison Ivy in the flesh'. Alex thought and happily discussed the flowers with her in harmony.

Both of them enjoyed the discussion and liked it a lot. Pamela was especially happy as not many kids her age showed interest in this topic.

"Alright, it's getting late. I'll see you again". Alex prepared to leave after buying the flowers but Pamela looked at him a bit hesitantly.

"I-I might not be here a-again". Pamela said as she looked at her toes.

"Hmm, well that's a problem. Can you tell me your address? We can meet up and I can pick you up from there". Alex looked at her with a cheeky and teasing smile as he said.

"Yes, I'll tell you". Pamela was shy but mustered up her courage and quickly talked to him as she noted down the address on a piece of paper.

"Alright then, if you want to find me. Just come to the Wayne manor. You should probably know the address". Alex teased as he waved at her and went out.

——Scene Change——

Alex quickly drove over to the Isley mansion and parked the car outside the door. Taking out his phone, he dialled her number.

Pamela's parents were quite distant with her and had a strained relationship. They never talked to each other much and could be said to be there for the sake of it.

When they found out that she was friends with the younger Wayne. They were overjoyed and praised her greatly.

This is the power of money. If Alex wasn't rich then they wouldn't even allow her to see him much less allow him to enter the mansion.

Alex never said anything about it. 'People are realistic. This a is a materialistic society, love without money can only last for so long'. Alex thought.

'A competent man can sustain a relationship but an incompetent man will never even be looked at by a girl'. Alex walked over as he was deep in thought.

Hancock didn't disturb as she hummed a tune while walking with his arm in hers like it was natural of her to do so.

Pamela quickly came out of the mansion and ran in front of Alex. "Alex, you are here". She smiled happily as she looked at him.

"Hi Pamela, glad to see you happy like always". Alex smiled as he gave her a hug and separated.

"Hi, I am Boa Hancock. Alex's first Girlfriend". Hancock smiled as she put her hand forward and especially stressed the word first.

She wanted to assert her dominance as she knew that the girl in front of her had feeling for her Alex. She didn't stop as she knew that he wanted to have multiple of them but her place as the queen will never be threatened.

Pamela was a bit astonished as Barbara, Selina and her has been chasing after Alex for so long and he just got a Girlfriend out of nowhere.

"Who is this?" Pamela asked with a dark expression when she heard Hancock's introduction.

"Haha, She's my first Girlfriend". Alex also introduced Hancock leisurely while ignoring Pamela's dark expression and the sparks flashing between Hancock and her.

He was acting like a dense Harem protagonist that got the girls together and didn't get their wraith upon him.

'The Dao of denseness has to be cultivated to the highest level'. Alex thought as he mentally nodded his head.

"Hmph, let's go". Pamela snorted in displeasure as she took the front seat before any of the two could stop her. 'I will show this bitch, who's boss'. Pamela thought in her head and looked at Hancock smugly.

Hancock was giving Pamela the stink eye as she looked at Pamela taking her spot on the front. She wrinkled her nose and sat down in the back with a huff. She didn't want to have a catfight in front of Alex.
