Like before, they contacted Mark and booked a ride to Sicily, Italy. There was already a guy waiting for them there with cash and a credit card that they could use with the money already provided to Mark.
"Shall we go on a date?" Alex proposed as he caught Mera's hand.
"We don't have time for this". Mera said a bit reluctantly but duty came first.
"We can search for it while roaming around. Don't worry". Alex said as he led her bu the hand without asking her opinion again.
Arthur shook his head helplessly as he went on his way to search for the clues. He felt a bit awkward being the third wheel, no matter how much of a buffoon he is.
They roamed around some streets as they saw different kinds of stalls and street foods along the way.
Alex saw some flowers as he went to buy some for Mera. She was looking intently at the red roses.
"Boss, give me a bouquet". Alex said as he took out some cash.
The guy gave him about a bouquet of ten roses and Alex gave them to Mera with a smile. Although she couldn't see as he was still wearing a mask.
Mera took the flowers with a smile as she ate one rose in front of his face. She looked like she was enjoying it.
Alex's lip twitched when he saw this scene. He was looking at her as she presented him the bouquet to take a bit a swell.
Alex pointed behind her as she looked and Alex ate one flower. 'You learn something new everyday'. Alex thought as he nodded his head while eating the rose.
"Hmph, bad guy". Mera snorted when she saw that he ate the flower and didn't even let her see his face.
"Do you really want to see my face?" Alex asked with a smirk.
Mera quickly nodded her head like a rattle when she heard his words.
"Okay but you have to give me a kiss". Alex said as his eyes looked playful.
"Uh, I promise". Mera hesitated but quickly promised when she saw Alex about to turn away.
"Hehe, okay then follow me". Alex said as he started walking to an alleyway.
'Gold Experience, do it'. He said in his mind and without even knowing anything Mera was knocked out.
Alex quickly caught her as he used Spirit force on her head to read her intentions about seeing his face. He isn't going to trust someone this soon.
'Now to just make her think that I showed her my face but it was so short that she couldn't remember'. He thought and quickly got to work.
After it was done, he laid her on the ground and slowly shook her awake.
"Ugh". Mera groaned as she woke up while feeling her head was a bit heavy.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked as he helped her stand up by grabbing onto her waist.
"W-what happened?" Mera as she was a bit confused and looked around.
"I don't know, you saw my face and passed out suddenly". Alex shrugged his shoulders as he said.
"Uuuh, I don't remember anything". Mera clutched her head a little as she groaned.
"Heh, you are trying to back off from the promise". Alex scoffed when he heard her words.
"No I'm not, you want a kiss right. Then come one take it if you dare". Mera tilted her chin as she said arrogantly.
Alex didn't waste time as he clutched her waist with his arm and planted his lips on top of hers quickly after uncovering the lower half of his face.
Mera was a bit dazed as she experienced the first kiss of her life. She was completely out of it as Alex ravaged her mouth with his tongue.
She snapped out of her daze as she looked into Alex's eyes with a glare and fought with her tongue to gain dominance over him.
They went at it for a while but neither side was willing to give up. After kissing for a couple more minutes. They finally let go of each other.
"Mmm, tasty". Alex said as he licked his lips in front of her with a wink and again covered his lower face.
'At least she doesn't have any ulterior motives on me and they are just budding feelings'. Alex thought as he looked at Mera with a smile.
"Okay let's find that guy. He should have found the place like us". Alex said as he went out of the alley with Mera following along with him.
Alex and Mera quickly walked to the place where they need to place the bottle for the coordinates.
'Only Alex knew this for now and not the other two but hey it is how it is'. They arrived at a relatively remote place with some broken statues and pillars.
Arthur was already there as he was fiddling with the bottle in his hand. He was laughing while looking inside the bottle.
"Yo, you are laughing like a pervert. Are you spying on some girls?" Alex asked as soon as he saw Arthur's laugh.
"No but I found something interesting". Arthur didn't take his words to heart as he showed him the bottle.
Before Alex could take the bottle, Mera quickly snatched it from Arthur and looked inside. "Wonderful". She smiled excitedly when she saw inside the bottle.
Alex quickly took the bottle and also looked inside. "Only in the hands of a true king. Can you see". Alex repeated the words to add dramatic effect.
"Guess, we should give it to the king". Alex said with a smile as he out the bottle in the statue's hand.
"You are quite knowledgeable". Arthur said as he looked at Alex.
"Comes with the trade". Alex replied back as he got behind the statue and looked through the eye.
'I have seen it in the movie but it still looks great. But it feels kinda gay'. Alex thought as he looked at his posture of standing so attached to a man's statue.
"Let me see as well". Mera quickly said as she excitedly shoved Alex aside and looked at it herself.
Arthur and Alex shared a smile as they looked at her cute antics that she shows once in a while.
