Somewhere in a Dead Universe. A massive fight was going on between Over-Monitor or The Monitor for short and Anti-Monitor.
The fight was in full swing and none fo them were willing to back down from this.
They are brothers and were made later than their elder brother but all of their roles are different.
Anti-Monitor spreads destruction throughout the Multiverse and destroys Universes that are behind in development.
While, Over-Monitor tries to bring prosperity to the Universes through various means and leads further in development.
That's why these two brothers can never agree to each other or mix with each other because they are inherently different in nature.
They would fight every time that they meet each other across the Multiverse.
Over-Monitor was ready to fight Anti-Monitor in front of Oa last time but due to Alex's insistence, he waited.
Now, they have been fighting here for a while and haven't finished their fighting in such a short time for them.
Fighting for couple of years straight is not a problem for them sometimes and now it hasn't even been a fraction of that time.
Their concept of time is different from other sentient beings because they are immortal and don't really have to worry about time.
"HaHaHaHa, Over-Monitor, How long can you protect these Universes". AntiMonitor laughed out loud while punching towards Over-Monitor.
"As long as it takes". Over-Monitor answered and received the punch head on.
"HaHaHaHa, But I won't be giving you that time". AntiMonitor laughed and spread out his hands without connecting the punch with Over-Monitor.
The punch carried forward and punched a whole through AntiMonitor's chest plate Armour.
This would set off a catastrophe that would swallow all the universes in its wake.
The Antimatter in AntiMonitor began to riot and boil fiercely when it saw an opening for it to escape.
"Not good". Over-Monitor was startled and his face changed again and again multiple times when he saw the situation.
They may fight all the time but grievously wounding the other party is not good for either of the two.
Over-Monitor just does to stall for time and make sure that AntiMonitor can destroy less universes but this is different.
If the Antimatter inside AntiMonitor is allowed to spread then all the universes will be destroyed in a short amount of time.
It may be a short time of ten years to anywhere near two hundred years.
But this is the worst that could happen in this situation. He still wants to salvage this.
"AntiMonitor, we need to take you to World Forger". Over-Monitor quickly said in a panic and took AntiMonitor by his hand.
"Hahaha, Why do we need to go there. I am perfectly fine. This is what I wanted". AntiMonitor took his hand away from Over-Monitor and continued to swell at an alarming rate.
It was like he was going to self destruct his own body and he was having fun about it.
"You come with me!" Over-Monitor shouted and tried to control AntiMonitor before it gets too late.
"It's already too late". AntiMonitor said with a ferocious look on his face.
His size had already bloated up to look like a giant ball. He was as big as half a universe in size already.
It wouldn't be long before he pops and blasts everything. All the Antimatter will spread like a ripple with him as the center.
Over-monitor didn't waste time with him either and disappeared from that place to go and find World-Forger for the job.
This is the only thing he could potentially do now or the situation will truly be out of his hand.
Over-Monitor quickly teleported to the World forge to get World-Forger to help him.
As soon as he stepped inside. He saw Barbatos sitting on World-Forger's seat with his hand propping up his chin.
"Where's World-Forger". Over-Monitor asked and looked at Barbatos.
"He is dead. I killed him". Barbatos answered with a sneer. He was totally unafraid of Over-Monitor.
"How dare you!" Over-Monitor yelled and punched Barbatos in the face, sending him flying through the forge walls and into the void.
The punch was heavy and he used his whole strength behind that punch.
Barbatos spat blood from his mouth and finally grew a bit afraid of Over-Monitor.
He didn't understand who Over-Monitor was because he was created by World-Forger to destroy and collect dead and decaying Universes for recycling.
It took the chance of a moment and successfully got rid of World-Forger or he will never be an opponent of the World-Forger.
Barbatos didn't even turn around again and disappeared from the place without missing a beat.
He didn't want to die after getting his freedom finally in such a long time.
He still wanted to enjoy and cause some destruction before. This was the only fun thing for him.
"Hahaha". He laughed wretchedly before disappearing completely under Over-Monitor's eyes.
"Tch, escaped to the sixth dimension". Over-Monitor clicked his tongue and looked around at the place.
"Have to find Mother to deal with this". Over-Monitor said and disappeared as well.
All three of them were made by only one being alone. Her name is Perpetua and she is one of the members of The Hands.
She was the first creator of the Multiverse and the most feared as well in the Greater Omniverse.
Most of the Crises in the history of the Omniverse have her name behind it.
But this time, the crisis was initiated with someone else's instigation and interference.
Over-Monitor went to the Greater Omniverse to find his Mother. This Crisis had to be resolved or the consequences would be very dire.
Meanwhile, in the Wayne Mansion.
"Oh Shit!" Alex exclaimed when he got a glimpse of what was about to happen and he wasn't very fond of the idea.
'Fuck, the absolute worst thing is about to happen'. Alex clutched his head and groaned when he thought about the consequences of the coming catastrophe on the Multiverse.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths is here". Alex looked up to the ceiling and said to himself in a helpless tone of voice.
