Once they were ready to continue, the judge asked Aruna about her whereabouts for the last few days.
"I apologize. I was merely calming myself somewhere from any disturbance," vague, yet no lies in them.
"Were you actually the one who signed your divorce papers?" the judge asked again.
Aruna was silent for a couple of seconds. Glancing at her brother from the corner of her eyes, of course his eyes were on her. In all seriousness. Taking a breath, Aruna faced back to the judge, "I signed the divorce paper."
"Were you forced to sign it or did you give your consent?" this was asked by the other judge. It seemed from the arguments of both lawyers that the one who filed the divorce paper was not purely out of the plaintiff's consent. Moreover, the plaintiff's reason to disappear was because she wanted to calm herself down. It was not a far fetched truth that she might be forced to sign the papers.
