Di Xueyan can't help but laugh at how absurd she was at that moment. She was actually knocked out for two days straight!

' You shouldn't had drank it directly', her mother calmly scolded her the moment she opened her eyes.
She tried to immediately stand up but she can't even feel her body, the feeling lasted for a whole five minute. She glare at her mother who is looking at her calmly but no matter how she tries to hide it, the laughter in her eyes is just too blinding for her to not notice.
" Why? Was there supposed to be rituals to be done? Was I supposed to dance in circles? Or was I supposed to drop a blood in the potion?", she replied, feeling very aggrieved and annoyed. The feeling of a million ants gnawing at her very being is just too traumatizing that she can't forget it even if she tries to. The mere thought of it brings chills down her spine.
" Idiot! There was supposed to be a pill to take to atleast lessen the pain, but you have to take it before drinking the potion. You were just too excited that I wasn't able to give it to you", Her mother can't take it anymore and laughed out loud.
She pouted because she feels like a stupid fool. She lit a candle for her ever wonderful brain who can't even play the role of an intelligent, cautious and sharp being that are the common traits of the female protagonists in novels.
She really shamelessly treated herself as a female protagonist in a novel.
Laughter filled the room as she can't also help but laugh at herself. She was supposed to continue laughing when she suddenly remembers the reason why she had to take that damned potion in the first place!
" Mother, give me a mirror please! Faster!", she enthusiastically order like a silly teenager who just can't wait for a second.
Her mother just smiled at her while handing her the mirror. She looks at her mother and found out that nothing changed in her face, she decided not to care as she is excited to see her real face.
She even closed her eyes like a silly child and counted up to 3.
'1'
'2'
'3!'
She immediately opens her eyes and was immediately stunned.
' I can't believe how shameless my parents are for faking this appearance for 19 years! Where did they got the guts to do such horrible thing!', she silently protest as she looks at the young lady in the mirror.
' I think I' m in love! ', she thought while caressing her face. She heard a giggle beside her and found out that she just blurted her thoughts out loud.
She slightly turns red and just ignored her laughing mother. She turn her attention back at the mirror again. She never thought that her straight black hair is actually wavy golden black which reach up until her hips.
' Wtf? How come it's so long? And gold and black? Seriously, If I didn't know better, I would've thought that I just went back from a salon or something', she marvels while touching it.
Her attention was caught by the pea sized, fiery fire like dot in her very smooth forehead. It looks alive as it dance in her forehead slightly, as if excited by her undivided attention at the moment. She also can't help but feel jealous at how arranged and lady like her thick eyebrows are, contrary to her usual almost non existent one before. She then realized that this is hers now, so she can't help but to grin triumphantly. Yes, that's how shallow her happiness is.
She trace her hands from her thick wavy lashes, her captivating phoenix eyes, her pointed nose and her luscious, thin, heartshaped cherry red lips.
' Wow! I want to kiss myself!', she thought while touching her lips.
Her hands made its way to her pinkish cheeks, caressing it. She notice that she has two deep dimples. All her life, she wished to all the gods in all mythologies to rewind the time and give her at least one dimple, even if it is a muscular disorder.
' Wow, I don't look like a human being deprived of blood anymore! I even have dimples! Yey! '
" Our surname is Di", her mother disturbed her from her little reverie.
" What? Di? That short? Wait, isn't that a Chinese surname?", she asks curiously.
" Yes, and we actually didn't name you before. Care to name yourself?", she asks while shrugging.
'Just wow! Hanep! What a very good parents'. Ava complains but still thinks of a name.
" Xueyue? Naaah, I always read that name. How about Youyue? Damn, that's also overused. Mother, how about Xueyan? ", she rumbles. Her mother raised her brows.
" Xueyan? Di Xueyan? Not bad, whatever you want", she answered like it is nothing, actually, she acts like a parent who doesn't give a damn.
Ava just rolled her eyes.
" So from now on, I am Di Xueyan".
