"I trust you that you won't betray me." I said to Olivia. She didn't say how she felt about the rumor, but I was sure the rumor affected her. So at least I had to comfort her and if needed protect her.
Olivia who sat beside me smiled. "Even if you trust me, it doesn't change anything, your highness." Her answer made my heart ache. "People will keep thinking that I betray you and his majesty. And maybe his majesty will chase me out."
When she said that, I was silenced. What she said was right, it was hard to make people trust her after the rumor spread that fast. But I couldn't let Olivia, who had helped me so far in such a condition too. How could I leave her behind while I already climbed as the crown prince.
