Using the element of surprise, the human's magic items, the troll's distraction, and their own aura enhancement to boost their speed, Matthew's and the ogre warriors' initial charge were definitely considered to be successful as Matthew and the ogre warriors succeeded in getting inside the human's base without receiving a single wound on their bodies.
There were several humans that still stayed to guard the backside of the base, but with the huge troll army that came from the front, most of the base's defense was focused on the front where at least a hundred trolls were charging forward towards their base which had a part of its wall destroyed, and soon more parts of the walls would crumble as the fire that initially appeared from the explosion seemingly went alive and moved on their own to eat up the other part of the wooden walls.
