Seeing that there was no way that Ethan would lose, Matthew had already relaxed his shoulders and folded his arms in front of him. He still kept the solid aura boots just in case something really bad that was completely out of his expectation would happen, but both his mind and body were already at ease when he had already figured out the full extent of Ethan's plan.
The plan was brilliantly crafted that it even took Matthew a while before he finally figured it out after Toragan had extinguished the fourth fire source that Ethan had planted on the ground using the earth walls. Then by seeing how high and wide the earth walls were and the position of each burning patch of grass, Matthew soon found out what the genius little kobold was doing.
