Some of the humans, particularly the six mages, were wary when they saw Matthew's body suddenly had an orange glow. The concept of aura was certainly not foreign to them as the higher leveled human knights also used aura.
However, the humans had not fought against the level 20 monkeys yet and it was their first time ever seeing the orange aura. So when Matthew clad himself in the orange aura, the six mages that were currently keeping up the hexagonal barrier braced themselves for a possible huge impact on the barrier when Matthew created a solid orange aura blade on his right hand.
But when the blade had actually hit the barrier and they didn't feel anything different from Matthew's earlier attack, they all looked at each other for a few seconds, making sure that their senses didn't fail them before nodding at each other after they were certain that nothing unusual had happened to the barrier.
