With the orange aura manipulating his throat, or more particularly, his voice box, Matthew felt his throat tightening to quite an uncomfortable degree before it finally stopped.
It was his own command for the orange aura to raise the frequency of his voice, but Matthew didn't know whether he went too high since it genuinely felt weird and unnatural for his throat.
However, in the end, Matthew decided to go on with his experiment and shouted out loud, sending his orange aura-packed voice straight toward Ethan who was currently making his way toward him.
