After racking his brain and rewinding his fight with the alpha monkey back then, Matthew finally stumbled upon the key factor that might enable him to use the orange aura just like how the alpha monkey used it.
And that was the vibrations.
He felt the vibrations on his body whenever the alpha monkey used its ability to freeze his body. And it became very clear when Matthew's body was hit by the alpha monkey's third ability.
When the orange voice wave hit his body, Matthew could feel constant vibrations going up and down his body without stopping as his body froze and his solid aura slowly broke down by the orange aura.
So it only made sense that he guessed that the vibrations were the ones that enabled the alpha monkey to use the orange aura to freeze his body and break down his abilities.
