The alpha monkey's hand pierce through Matthew's soft scales and drew blood from Matthew's neck. It was certainly painful for Matthew as the monkey's nail was not extremely sharp, and it was rather rugged, causing Matthew to feel more than just a painful prick when those nails were stabbed into his neck.
The alpha monkey's face lit up in delight as it saw that its attack finally went through and it succeeded in dealing supposedly fatal damage to its enemy. However, as if knowing what would happen in the next second, the alpha monkey didn't celebrate and instead backed off some distance away from Matthew.
And it was soon revealed why the alpha monkey quickly decided to retreat right away after dealing significant damage to Matthew since the moment the alpha monkey's hand touched Matthew's body, the unknown vibration that kept Matthew's body frozen still disappeared as he regained control over his body once again.
