The three kobolds had just got back from their daily hunt and they were preparing to cook the boars that they had caught today. But when Alex went inside the wolf's den to drink some water from the water container, he was startled by the sight of Matthew's huge body that had grown almost twice in size compared to his usual body.
But the one thing that made him decide to turn his tail and run immediately is not the size of Matthew's body, rather, it was the huge scary-looking creature head that looked sound asleep behind Matthew.
It was the first time that Alex had seen a creature with an innately frightening look. The creature had a long body, yet not a single limb can be seen throughout its body. Suppressing his scream as best as he could, Alex ran outside the wolf den and hurriedly called over for Ethan and Valda to also look over the weird creature that was sleeping in Matthew's place.
