At the start of dawn, Matthew had just arrived back to the area near the wolf's den with a belly so full that he was afraid that it would accidentally explode if someone poked a needle to his stomach.
Matthew had spent the whole night running away from the troll village as far as he could while dragging along the mutilated troll body that he planned to consume to finish the troll monster data. And when he was already running for a few hours nonstop while dragging the considerable weight in his hand, he finally started to feel tiredness creeping up in his body.
Matthew didn't know whether he should thank his metabolism for being able to digest things fast that he already felt some room opening up in his stomach after he ate a whole troll or whether he should be concerned that his metabolism worked too well and he would be hungry all the time in the future.
