"Brother Matthew, what are those creatures?"
"Oh? You've never seen them before? I first met them not too far from the kobold's village."
"No, we've never seen any beast like that before. The furthest that we went outside the village back then was when we went to the bear's burrow and met brother Matthew. We're not allowed to go far away in the first place since we were not adults yet back then." Ethan said as he whispered his words to Matthew, afraid he would be alerting the many creatures not too far away from their hiding place.
"I see. They are called monkeys. They are not that strong individually, but it would be troublesome to defeat them all alone even for me. Their sheer numbers are their main strength. And their legs are also strong enough that they can jump from one tree to another easily." Matthew explained, also with a hushed voice.
