A couple of days had passed since Reina's encounter with the intruder who turned out to be an injured cat.
The chubby cat was forced to stay at the cottage with her even when it tried to escape when she wasn't watching.
It had shown great progress after receiving first-aid from her and was making gradual recovery so she did not wish for it to move about and get in trouble again.
Though the cat could understand what she was saying, it couldn't respond since it did not speak in a language that she could grasp.
Nevertheless, the two strangers had done a good job at coexisting in that cottage for the past few days.
The intensity of Reina's bursts of period pains had reduced after that wretched first week so she had been able to accomplish small tasks if she did not exert too much of her energy all at once.
Though not everything was moving in the right direction.
