Reina's contemplative daze came to a halt when she heard a whimper followed by an anguished hiss reaching her ears.
"You're up?" She questioned once she turned in the direction of the sound.
Her eyes met the sparkling blue eyes of the chubby cat who seemed to have awakened after a brief moment of rest.
Earlier when she had first gazed into the cat's eyes, she had thought that they had similar shades of irises.
However, now that they were indoors and she had a better opportunity to look at it in leisure, she had noticed that she was wrong in her initial inference.
The grey cat's eyes were indeed blue but they weren't close to her shade of icy blue but were much deeper in color.
If Reina's eyes were akin to a frozen lake, pale and icy, then the cat's eyes were as though they possessed the same color as a vibrant ocean, full of life and chaotic.
Right now, those bright blue eyes were narrowed as they leered at her, making her feel wronged.
