Elder Brux frowned upon hearing the answer coming from Rein Melk, the chamberlain.
However, Trekon snickered before nodding his head at the same statement.
"Luck is just as important as one's strengths." He agreed with what Rein had said, also hinting that the chamberlain's strength had nothing to do with his survival and it was only the luck factor that had saved him.
Reina wasn't a fool who could not grasp the hints of sarcasm hidden in his tone.
"Elder is right. Luck can help when even one's own strengths let them down." She acquiesced to his taunts, stunning them alike.
The chamberlain whom they had heard was too timid to even raise his head in the presence of others was now daring to reply with such confidence.
