The King had been lost in thought, seated in his office when he heard a knock coming from his bedroom's door.
There could only be one person standing outside that door so he permitted them to enter right away.
As he sat in silence, the sounds of footsteps echoed in the bedroom before another series of knocks were heard on his Office's door.
"Enter." He muttered, confident that the other person would be able to hear his low voice anyway.
As expected, the door was pushed open, and in came the young man he had seen a while ago.
Rein Melk, his chamberlain, was seen dressed in his usual uniform and was pushing a trolley as he walked towards him.
The King then watched as his aide began preparing the tea that he had been thinking about on numerous occasions in the past.
Ever since Rein had left the Palace, the one thing that constantly reminded him of his aide's absence was the tea that he had gotten used to consuming each day.
