Reina had resolutely given up on trying to write a letter meant for Rein's parents as the reasons for doing so were plenty.
She was not confident in her ability to fool them if she did write by borrowing her predecessor's name.
It was also a fact that she was not their real daughter so she could not bring herself to impersonate Rein before her parents and let them believe that their daughter was still alive.
While she did not know how she would react if she ever met them in person, she had no plans of continuing this tradition that Rein followed.
She did not wish to give them false hope by maintaining this kind of relationship with them only to be disappointed when they finally learn the truth about her existence in their child's body.
Therefore, she had chosen to stay away from the room after realizing what its purpose truly was.
