Mary woke up in the middle of the night in pain.
Her chest felt as if it had been crushed by a machine. She could not turn over and lay flat on her back, unable to breathe.
At two o'clock in the morning, the whole castle was silent.
Mary had no choice but to hold on to the wall and find Monroe Hall's room.
When she knocked on the door, she saw Monroe Hall's angry face after being woken up.
She was sweating profusely and her face was pale from the pain. She covered her chest and explained before he lost his temper, "Please forgive me, I didn't want to disturb your sweet dreams. I was just in too much pain..."
Monroe Hall's expression changed slightly. He immediately picked up Mary and strode out!
"Idiot, why didn't you call me? Why did you walk up on your own? Where are the servants that I ordered to guard your door?"
