Nina stood up, ready to leave the office.
When she reached the door, she stopped and turned back to speak to Algernon. "Mr. Belloc, I'm sorry that my admission has made you uncomfortable. However, I hope you will believe that I will make the most out of this admission slot."
Nina's attitude impressed Algernon.
He looked at the document in his hand and suddenly remembered Blumer's arrangement. "Our LG General Hospital is currently participating in a project on human genetic experiments. The research is carried out in our medical school, and the professor that transferred over recently just happens to be lacking an assistant. I suggest you try it.
"Participating in this project might help you improve faster. What do you think?"
Nina nodded after some consideration. "I'd love to."
This was indeed a rare opportunity, and Nina had no reason to refuse.
Algernon handed Nina a phone number before she left the office.
