There was a queue outside the bar. Beth said, "It's ladies' night today. We can enjoy it to the fullest. I'm afraid there will be a lot of guys coming over to try and talk to you!"
Just then, Eddie emerged from the small door of the bar. He greeted the bodyguard and brought Beth and Nina into the bar right away.
"Eddie Davis, just call me Eddie," Eddie introduced himself to Nina. He was smiling confidently now, two rows of white teeth displayed on his tanned face. He was very handsome.
It was obvious that he was no longer as flustered as he had been when Nina intruded earlier.
"Nina Jowett." Nina's appeared natural, too, as if she had completely forgotten about what happened in the morning.
"When we enter the room, you guys sit in the corner. I'll get you something to eat and drink. Be careful of what you say. It's Marion's birthday today, and several bigshots are here!" Eddie led the way, sounding a little smug.
Nina frowned.
