Confused as she was, she fell to her bed with her eyes focused on the ceiling. Not of it made sense in any way, shape or form, but she found herself feeling more sympathetic than she should towards the sources of her discomfort. It was irksome how much of humanity was still left within her to make her feel compassion for someone who was causing her discomfort. Unnerving and irritating it was.
'The chains around my neck, the shackles bound together at my hands and feet, the iron clasp that stopped any form of speech from proceeding out of my mouth. Each day passed by with the song of pain and emptiness at the tip of my tongue. When will my salvation come that I may be free from all my sorrow?'
