Several days passed with no end in sight. At first, she believed darkness was all that made up a full day, but only the very dim rays of light pouring in whenever the dark woman opened the door told her otherwise. Perhaps there was light not only darkness, but how bright this light was, was something she never knew.
Armed with no knowledge of who she was, where she came from, or how she got here to a dark, musky cellar, the only thought running through her mind was how to stop the constant rumbling that went on and on coming from her belly.
Not that she knew what the feeling was called.
