Toshirou received the rolled-up paper from her hand, and carefully tucked it away in his trousers.
"You said heaven's gates? The letter did not mention anything about a gate?"
"Don't be silly, Toshirou. If there's a key, then there's a door, and considering the heavens are supposed to be big and grand, do you really think it's out of the question to say that a gate is what the key is for?"
"No... I'm just asking. Never mind the details," he replied, averting his gaze from her amber eyes.
