The outing comes to a close when Lily sways over to us as she rubs her eyes. With her little brother trailing right behind her, a long yawn escapes her body once she lays her head on Xander's lap.
"Daddy, I'm sleepy." Lily raises her arms to signal that she wants to be held while gazing at Xander with sleep overtaking her eyes. "Can I sleep on your lap?"
Lucas falters as he tries to finish the rest of the journey to Michael's feet. "Pa~ Can we go home now?" asks the drunkenly tired cat as he fights a losing battle with sleep.
Xander lifts Lily into his arms, and Michael carries Lucas in his. They both rock the children slowly until they fall into a deep sleep. However, right before Lily falls asleep, she mumbles, "Mommy, can Tyler play with us some more at the house?"
