"You must have been surprised to find out that I had a messenger looking for you," Sir Draven comments while Delic pours him a cup of tea.
"I will admit that it did shock me," I answer, taking a sip of my coffee. "I don't mean to rush, but may I ask why you requested to meet with me?"
Sir Draven drinks his tea then clears his throat. "I understand that you might hate me for what I have done a year ago, but after recovering from the injury that your father gave me, I have decided to change my ways. I was wondering if we could create a partnership and bring prosperity to Eshea. With you position in the city and my organization's bond with the residents, we could bring about change that could benefit everyone."
