"Then, shall we get started?" I ask as I get comfortable on the picnic blanket.
Isaac fidgets around as he isn't able to find a position let alone a mindset to relax and be comfortable in. "I don't have any other choice, do I?"
"Not really," I instantly answer. "Do you want to tell me what you think you said? Or should I go straight into it?"
"I just want to stop thinking about what I might have said."
"Then, I will speak frankly. I'm not good at sugar coating, so I might hurt your feelings. Is that okay?"
Isaac nods, so I begin explaining that he started attacking anyone who tried to stop you from biting me. I ended with him apologizing to me instead of his mother.
When I finished telling him what he did, Isaac covers his face in his hands and hunches over. "I'm sorry that you had to hear that. I completely forgot that that even happened. I guess my mind didn't want me to remember that day."
