"You understand your role in this operation, correct?" I ask Billy after we get settled in the car.
"I will lead you to the campsite where the slaves are being held. Once we get there, I will personally unlock the cages and apologies to each of the slaves as I do so."
"What happens when you try and do something that was not discussed?"
"I will immediately be killed. No questions asked."
"At least you're not stupid enough to try." I nod my head at Delic who was waiting for my signal to start driving.
As we make it closer to the gate, the thought comes to mind that I have never actually been outside the city's walls before. I have only heard about it through history lessons and from my parents.
'Isaac, is it really all snow and ice outside the city?' I ask as I gently nudge Isaac's shoulder.
