"Hey Snowflake, what are you doing here?"

"Honey, don't disturb Viola. She's resting."

I try to open my eyes, but the extreme brightness keeps me from doing so. Shielding my eyes, I manage to peek through and, to my surprise, find my mother and father standing over me.
"Mom? Dad?" I groan trying to sit up from where I was laying.
My father hurriedly kneels down and supports my back so that I don't fall back down. "Careful there, Snowflake. You shouldn't be moving."
"Where am I? What happened?"
My mother sits next to me and moves my hair out of my face. "You're in the Spirit Realm. Your body is fluctuating between dying and living, so your spirit fled here for safety."
That's right... I was fighting a band of mercenaries when my arm was suddenly cut off.
"Are you saying that I'm on the verge of dying?" I sum up as I grab my throbbing head.
My mother and father pass worried looks at each other.
