Men do all of the laborious work while women did slightly easier tasks. That's how it's always been in Snowy Plains Village. That's how it was able to survive a hundred years of endless winter.
"Look! It's Skye~ Mr. Woman tasker!"
The kids teased Skye for being the only male in his immediate family. Normally, when a son is born into a family, the father will have the son watch and mimic him throughout his childhood so that when he came of age, the son would be able to help provide for the village along with the other men.
"I bet he doesn't even know how to throw a spear!"
The kids laughed and laughed as Skye was taught how to sew and cook from his mother.
"I'm sorry, Skye," the woman quietly says as she sews new clothes with her son. "It's all my fault. If I hadn't of worried your father..."
