"Aren't you supposed to be like...dead?!"
"Skye, you got a bad habit of insulting people," Diore scolds as he sets the picture frame to the set.
I walk over to Ray and set a hand on his arm. "Were you overwhelmed? I wasn't expecting Diore to recognize you through a picture."
"Would you be overwhelmed if you saw a picture of your best friend after over 600 years?"
"I don't have a best friend, but you got a point."
"You know, the other Vessels will be sad to hear that you don't think of them as friends."
"Aren't they technically family?"
"True, true. You got me there."
"Sir Raymond," Diore says as he pinches Skye's ear. "I'm very sorry for this young man's attitude. He doesn't have much of a filter, but he does have manners, so I ask for your patience with him." Diore drags Skye forward. "Go on. Apologize to Sir Raymond."
