It's a quarterly pilgrimage that the three founding families would make to the eastern village. At the beginning of every season, like clockwork, the Lumieres, the Fleurs, and the Steeles will announce the Winter Vessel's condition to the village.
The eastern village, also known as Snowy Plains despite the lack of snow it experiences, is a village that worships the Winter Vessel as one close to the Highest Being due to his ability to manipulate the winter season. It is a moderately sized village that has followed the belief that the Winter Vessel was supposed to be the ruler of the Northern Country. They only followed the Schnee's laws to the bare minimum in order to not be controlled by the royal knights; however, other than that, they refuse to acknowledge the Schnee Family as their leader.
