I return back to the human realm sooner than normal since the Vessels don't want me moving around so much. They have decided to pause on my combat training and focus more on feeling the movement of the snow and ice within me. Being able to feel the flow will give me better control over my powers, so I practiced with them for just an hour so that I don't overdo it.
When I open my eyes, I find myself laying down on Isaac's lap. I roll over so that I can wrap my arms around him which scares him since we wasn't expecting me to come back so soon.
"You're back earlier than I expected," Isaac comments as he strokes my head. "How did it go with Father?"
"He's not mad. In fact, he's extremely excited, and he said that he's proud of you for staying by my side even though you were scared."
"Father is proud of me..." Isaac starts to get giddy after knowing that he was complimented by my dad. "Should we head back now?"
