"It's almost time for you to become queen. Are you excited?" my mother asks as she zooms around my head.
"A little, but I know it's not going to be some wonderful experience where I just have to wave my hand and look pretty."
My mother's energy orb stops swirling around me and rests on my shoulder. "Are you scared? It's okay if you are."
"I've never actually thought about it before if I was scared or not," I answer as I lean against the wall absorbing magical energy. "I just thought about the responsibility that I have towards the country and the things that I should do."
