"I found someone!"
"Somebody bring the blankets over here!"
A good ten minutes into the on-foot search for survivors leads us to a small family of feline anthropomorphs similar to Lucas. Delic hurriedly rushes over with an armful of blankets that she was carrying in her back to hand to me. Once she was within arm's reach, I grab the top blanket and wrap it around one of the three kids.
"It's okay now," I assure as I rub the coldness out of the child. "We are here to help. We're going to bring you to a place that has warm food and comfy beds so that you won't be in the cold."
The child looks extremely confused, and I really don't blame him. A group of people in thick winter clothes happen to pop up from on top of a hill and start shouting things to each other. The rest of the family appears to be the exact same way.
"Let's start loading everyone into the trucks!" Draven shouts as he helps the man stand up. "We have to get them to base immediately!"
