After a few days of recovery and training, I was able to get myself back into shape for the expedition today. While I was getting myself together, Delic and the others have been fulfilling the rest of the plan they created, saying how I should focus on my recovery instead of worrying. Now, I find myself standing in the same spot that I got shot on one week later.
"Are you sure you're comfortable with this?" Draven asks as we step outside to the stage.
I nod my head without looking over at Draven. "I'm sure. We both have to be up there in order to send off our expedition group. I heard that the organizers are taking more precautions this time and put up a bulletproof glass, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about."
Draven holds out his hand to me as we approach the stairs to the stage. "Well, then, I guess we can just focus on our speech," he assures with a light laugh.
