"Happy birthday!"
Over the past day and a half, Lily, Grania, and Billy have been helping Lucas adjust to being a human. From walking to eating to slightly more complex motor skills, Lucas has been giving it his all so that he could show everyone at his birthday party.
Now, surrounded by everyone at the estate, Lucas gets to have his first proper birthday party. Gifts line the wall of the training hall. Balloons and streamers in black and blue hang from the ceiling. Everyone is smiling and laughing as they welcome the birthday boy into the building.
"Look at my baby boy!" I cheer as I run to sweep him off the floor. "I can't believe how well you can walk now. You did such a good job."
"Thank you, Momma." Lucas's shy and bashful nature causes his cheeks to flush after getting complimented.
