It's Tuesday... Tuesday morning to be exact... I know that there really isn't a quiet day in this house, but dang... it's mighty rowdy right now.
"Mommy! Mommy!" Lily dashes into my room with the most scared look on her face. She huddles her face into my chest as she hides under my blanket.
"What's wrong, baby?" I ask, trying to soothe her down.
Lily shakes her head without looking up at me. "I don't know! I woke up this morning, and I reached over so that I can give Lucas a hug, but Lucas wasn't next to me! It was a boy! A real boy!"
A real boy? If a human boy was next to Lily instead of Lucas, then that means that the boy is Lucas. But why?
I pick Lily up and properly set her on my lap. Picking the wet hairs from Lily's face, I ask, "Lily, can you take me to where the boy is? Maybe he knows where Lucas went."
