Verxal already had a plan with Ellena on how they would handle the commander. They wanted to extract some information from the commander, so the HQ was involved with it. Well, they had no choice but to intervene since the same organization attacked the test and caused a ruckus. It is obviously their job to settle.
After a few conversations about how excited Verxal was about fighting Ellena in a few days, Ellena simply smiled at him and conversed in a way that allowed her to easily leave the place. When they were done, Ellena was asked to have dinner, but she just declined.
Verxal wasn't a pushover, so he just willingly accepted Ellena's sentiments.
We left the mansion and went straight to the inn. There, they prepared to take a lunch together. Well, it's already past 2 pm, and it's too late for lunch, so they just ordered in the inn's diner and made a separate payment for their lunch.
