"What's your problem?" Ellena blurted out.
Apparently, Diana wants to talk with her parents. I don't know how the talk will be, but they'll eventually talk about Ellena being here.
For the content, Diana would eventually try to talk to them to reason out. And I can tell that they would just still use that 'cursed child' for illogical reasons.
I know it was good that Diana didn't ask about what happened to Ellena's hair but I was just thinking about Ellena's well-being. I don't know. Perhaps this is a big matter for her.
I agree that hiding her identity would be great since she doesn't need to exchange discussions with those kinds of people. But I don't know what eagers or what pushes Ellena to hide her identity. Is it not to be called back to the past? The bad memories?
"I want to ask them! Is it not enough?"
"But, you're obviously opposing it to them if you ask that."
"Then I should, even I have to leave this house, I will!"
Ellena just couldn't help but to shook. Even I don't agree with her. She's reckless, perhaps more reckless than Ellena.
Being carefree doesn't contribute to a greater future. I can tell that future is not something you can put in a fixed manner. It changes constantly since variables are changeable. However, there are attitudes that might help your future.
"I decided. I'll leave this house." Diana said with a smile on her face.
"Wait! That's too reckless. It's stupid!"
But Diana just slowly looked at Ellena. "They are stupid. They thought that their children are objects for them to be controlled. Too bad, they're smarter than what they thought."
Wow... These siblings are really something... Their minds can't be easily comprehended. It made me a question, which womb do they come from?
That fake mother, Matilda, or that stupid father, Albert don't deserve both of them. They are more valuable to be their children.
"That! Sighs... I don't know what to say, but, I hope you don't regret this." Ellena said before letting Diana go.
After Diana leaving, I tried to talk with Ellena. "Are you okay with this? I mean, you'll just accept her like that?"
I don't have any issue with her decision. I'm okay with it. It's good that these siblings worked out somehow. I'm proud of them.
But I was surprised. Ellena was not unaffected by it.
'I realized, she was also suffering from our parents. I can't judge her with that, we were also kids and just believed what our parents told us.'
I see... so that was her reason. It's a mature mindset. I didn't think that Ellena was able to do that. She manages to be that composed in the whole situation.
'By the way, I want to follow, Diana. I'm nervous about what she'll say or what will happen to her.'
"Sure thing. I'll just assist you."
Ellena gets back to the mansion then I just did what I can do. I followed Diana with my ability to pass through walls.
I saw Diana approaching her mother. Apparently, her mother just wore an irritated expression before surrendering to Diana. Diana assisted her to a room and on the way, she called her father.
Getting inside a room, away from the public and crowd, the parent burst into questions and irritations.
"What's your problem, Diana? Can't you see I'm talking with someone? And where the hell have you been? This is your party, why aren't you greeting the public?"
"Hmph! You're going with that daughter of your father's brother? And that, who Noelle! I thought that she was something, but just another Lumbert bitch from the main family."
Ellena, arriving outside of the room, tried to listen to the conversation.
I noticed too that Diana was enraged before asking them.
"What really happened to Sister Ellena? Why did you cast her out?"
"Cast her out? That again?! Didn't I told you that she hates you?!" At first, Matilda tried to deny Diana's words but Albert just sighed before talking.
"We did cast her out. But it's because she was useless. She's a cursed child, what would you expect from a cursed child."
Diana just responds with a snicker. She seems to find the stupidness of her parents funny. I find it too! We're the same!
"Hah... so for that reason?" She asked in a doubtful manner. She made it obvious that she was as if mocking their words, but Matilda was really thick head that she can't understand tones.
"Of course! You don't know what is a cursed child. They are useless humans. Their runes don't work and witches are attracted at them!"
Still wanted to sound reasonable, Diana just has this constant face. Her reaction was shocked, but in a fake way followed by nods as her eyes were literally purposed widened.
"Wow... they are?"
But despite Diana's obvious mockery, Matilda is really ignorant that she can't notice Diana's actions. However, Albert is different, he already keeps up with Diana's words.
"Diana, I really don't like your manner of speech." Albert trying to be composed, he said it in a way to remain calm.
Diana is really doing great. She's pressuring her parents since she can see their feelings. I can notice that Diana's rune is constantly glowing.
"Really? Because I don't like why you need to lie to me. Sister Ellena, just did what you told her to do. You just keep on pushing her away, and now, you have the guts to sound reasonable?"
"Diana! You are still a child! Can't you see that we just did it to protect you?!" Matilda still tries to reason out but Diana just doesn't listen to her.
"No. I don't see it in that way, I see it as if you want to save your faces when Grandma asks me what happened to Sister Ellena."
Slap!
"You ungrateful brat! Can't you understand that we're doing what's only is best for you?! And we're telling you, that trash isn't the best child that should be near at you!" Albert exclaimed.
"Wow... you really want to play those cruel parents. Can't you even explain the pressuring you made so that, 'I could become the child you can be proud of'?!" Diana said in a tone of mockery.
"Stop this, Diana." Albert was about to slap Diana once again but Ellena shortened her patience finally stepped out.
I already noticed earlier that Ellena was trembling in anger. She was listening to everything and trying to be composed, but the slapping events, she just can't take it.
I understand that there are parents who want to be violent a little to discipline their children but it was different for Ellena, she just can't take it anymore.
"You are the one who must stop it! You're hurting her. Can't you see that she can't comprehend the unjust things you made? You even dare to feed her with lies?" Ellena said but since the trash parents didn't recognize her earlier, they just don't pay attention to Ellena.
"Noelle, this is family matters! Please get out." Albert said.
"You're really bad at being parents. You didn't even manage to recognize me."
Confused, both of them were perplexed. And later on, finally, they patch up everything in such a long time.
Seems hesitating, they patch up the words they wanted to pronounce. As if was struck by lightning, their hands started trembling.
"E-Ellena?" They both stuttered in their utter.
"Did you miss me?" Ellena said cunningly.
