Eva POV
I woke up with a smile on my face. Max's hand was on my waist as he had held me tight. I slowly removed his grip and went onto get dressed before anyone finds out that I am in his room. After taking shower and everything, I came out of my room but the events were different today. The trees were being marked and the chains were being build up everywhere. The plants that are unhygienic to the wolves were being surrounded the area. I know when these events take place. I soon realized that it is full moon today. The wolves take precautions like these so that they don't kill an innocent.
However, I was stunned, froze in my place. The days were so good and healing that I completely forgot about this day when I am going to end myself. I had no time and I felt my veins bursting.I have to talk to Max, tell him what I am supposed to be doing. What is he loves me and don't want me to die? I know he won't ever let me sacrifice myself. A smile appeared on my face as I aalled to Max who was busy tearing thorns on path.
" hey", I said.
" hii... good morning ", Max said pretending in front of others that he saw me just now throughout the night. I smiled at it when a man standing beside Max said,
" hey... you are going to bring our queen back today, I have no words to praise you my lord", he said.
He bowed his head in my respect and the smile on my face faded while Max smiled proudly looking at me. I held Max's wrist and pulled him towards the corner. Max was stunned at my sudden action. He was afraid about the thought of the other wolves as he angrily whispered,
" what the hell Eva?",
" Max... do you have any idea of what I am going to do to bring your bitch wife back?" I asked.
" I told you not to call her that, plus I have been asking you the other side of negotiations for about a month , ",Max said.
He was still protecting Arya no matter where she remains dead. My heart was not in good pace today plus I was getting jealous of Arya. My obsession was increased in a month. Things were all good then why is there need of this bitch.
" ok Max... listen to me very carefully, I have to sacrifice myself to death to bring Arya back to life ", I said.
However, there was no even an inch of fear of perplex and baffles expression over him. It seems as if everything was genuine or he just refused to hear me. I was more perplexed than he was. Why is it so happening to me when Max finally moved. he kept both his hands on both sides of my shoulder and bent down to look into my eyes. His eyes looked convincing as he made me sit on a log of wood and then he said,
" Listen Eve... I love you but please you need to know that I always knew this negotiation. One of the witch had already told me about it and had asked me to convince you to perform the sacrifice" Max said.
There I realised that no matter how sinking his blue eyes are, he is a traitor, a liar and a galaxy of betrayal. All this time that was so happy was nothing. Did he even love me? Everything seemed bleak and my heart crashed in pieces. I looked at him trying to find love but it seemed to have vanished. He was still holding me giving that sympathetic look which was no more worth anything as he continued,
" look Eve, there are two options now. Either you die or I die because for my pack, I will be needing a leader to take over and for that I have to de so that the Beta and his queen can give their powers to the rest of the pack", Max said.
I was again baffled. He had this plan of such brutal manipulation already running in his mind. I couldn't speak anything as my legs went numb. My head was aching and I was chocking at my own true words. I shoved his hands off my shoulder and stood up.No matter what trick he used in manipulating me, he has actually succeeded.
Without saying a word and ignoring all the smiling and happy faces staring at me, I walked to my room. I grabbed my black clothes and that black gown that was a ritual dress for my sacrifice. I took my candles and all the spell books with me. I heard Max calling out to me but I ignored him too. I should have known that I was always abandoned and no more will ever accept me. This world was just manipulating me from the day I was born. I have no family and no one to love me. The fear of being abandoned and living in a dark villa alone was taking me again so I decided to end it all here. I climbed the cliff in the evening itself to have a better view of the full moon. I took the coffin of Arya with me and created a boundary spell around her coffin linked to the moon. At night when she will be back to life, she will be a hungry wolf and can eat me while I am dead, I don't want her to do that so till morning, she wont be able to leave her place and once she is human again, she will get back to her pack...
