Ning waited with Shara for a few minutes before two people came running out of the door. One of them was an older man with gray hair, wearing a golden necklace. The other was a shorter, but younger man with a bald head.
The bald man immediately looked around, doing something.
"Is that the girl?" the older man asked.
"Yes," the woman said. "She has powers, but can't interact with Spirits. When Frank tried to go into her to test if she is an Overtaker… he was gone."
"He is gone," the bald man said with a frown. "I… I can't sense him at all. Our bond is destroyed."
"What can get rid of an Overtaker's bond?" the woman asked, surprised.
"I haven't heard of something like this happening before," the man said, before turning to Shara. "Young lady, do you know what you did to our Spirit?"
Shara seemed to shrink under the question. "N-no," she said.
"Is there a problem here?" Ning asked.
