Ning saw another problem with his water filtration skill. He needed to be in contact with the water, but if he were to purify the water in the sea, it would just mix with the rest of the water and remain just as salty.
'Oh, wait a second. System, I can store the liquid in my storage right?' he asked.
'What about filtrating it in my storage?' he asked once more.
'Hmm… so I should just bring back water here and filter it all at once,' he thought. 'Where do I store the water though?'
He looked around, but nowhere looked special. 'Guess I gotta dig then,' he thought. He needed something else to dig as a wooden spike wouldn't be enough.
'Let's just buy a pair of metal tools,' he thought and asked the system about it.
He bought a Hoe for 20 Million Energy and a Shovel for 25 Million. He decided to spend a few more days collecting energy. In the meanwhile, he used dug around more pathways across the fields for water.
During his free time, however, something else was in his mind all the time. 'Should I just get my body or wait for enough energy to buy the spiritual roots?' he wondered. 'It might be a good idea to learn about cultivation properly first. System, show all knowledge on cultivation.'
'What the… I can't even buy the basic one? Why?' he was shocked at seeing the ridiculous price of the Cultivation knowledge. '560 million… that will take a 56 days… damn 2 months of just doing this? I will get bored. Only if there was a way to increase my daily caps. I wish I could get more sound energy just like I do my heat ene— hmm… wait a second. Hey, system wasn't there something about turning yin to sound as well?' he asked very expectantly.
'Idiot!! Why didn't I think of that earlier?' he started berating himself. 'Alright, let's quickly collect the sound energy tomorrow and double my daily cap twice in 5 days. That should help me a lot,' he thought.
'Buy it,' he said.
'Alright, time to grind again.'
He spent the next few days digging a hole somewhere else in the field to store the water and then teleported to the sea to carry back the water. He would also kill whatever monster or animal that came to the field and send its body back to the village. They would surely appreciate it.
During this time he also unlocked the next cap for energy gathering twice.
Now he could gather 40 Million energy every day. He had also filled the hole he had dug with water and was ready to purify it.
He transferred his body into a small rock and teleported into the water. 'Man it would've been so much easier if I could fly… I should look into that ability sometime soon,' he thought.
'Alright… uh I just think about it right?' he wondered and started thinking about filtering the water so that only the water remained and the salt was separated from it. A sort of buzz started appearing from his body.
Suddenly, white particles in the water started separating from it as he spent nearly 2 dozen Million of energy just to separate the salt from the water. 'Holy sh*t. I should have calculated beforehand.'
He felt like his heart bled seeing so much energy going away just to filter the water.
He looked around and saw that the salt was starting to settle to the bottom of the water. 'I should take it out of here right?' he thought and took all the salt into his storage. After the water was purified he teleported back up.
'Alright, how do I make the water flow now?' he wondered. 'Uhh… let's just go find Hyesi. He can do it he thought.
'System, teleport me back to the village at the marked location,' he said. Suddenly, his entire body disappeared as he arrived at a different location.
'Hmm… what is this? Feels so soft.' He thought and looked at the place he had just arrived. There were a lot of leaves and dried coconut shells that made a soft sitting place in the hut he had made previously.
'Hmm… what's going on? Why is there something like this here?' he thought for a moment. 'Oh, Hyesi must be diligently working. Good boy, good boy.'
Suddenly, he heard footsteps. 'Oh, he must be here. Just a good boy following my words even after so many days have gone by.' He waited for Hyesi to open the door to the house and entered.
But the one who came in was an old woman. She was probably one of the grandmas in the village that he never met. 'Hmm… why is she here?' he wondered.
"Oh, nothing is here today. He must be busy," she said and was about to leave when she saw the small stone in the middle of the room. She hesitated for a bit and spoke, "Is that you, Inikaka?" she asked.
'What? How does she know?' he was shocked.
"Inikaka?" she asked once more.
'How does she know about me? Is this… Hyesi?' he was surprised. 'Wait no, can't be. He probably just told the others about me.' He thought.
"Please speak if it is you, O bright lord Inikaka," the elderly woman spoke once more. Ning wanted to keep on staying quiet but decided otherwise. 'I was planning to do something like this a bit later on. I guess, now is not a bad choice either.'
So, he finally spoke, "Yes, It is I."
