After coming to the conclusion that traveling by carriage was the best option for the two of them at the moment, Kenneth walked to the same coachman who had answered him earlier and then asked, "Is it possible to hire you to take me and my friend to Stormford?"
The coachman glanced at Kenneth with a skeptical look on his face. It was obvious that he was judging Kenneth when he looked at the man in the bedrobe from his head to his toe.
"You are saying that you want to go that far in my carriage?" he asked while turning his upper body to face Kenneth and then raising his brows.
Kenneth hadn't yet realized what he was wearing right now. And it hadn't crossed Damien's mind yet that Kenneth wasn't appropriately dressed to be traveling outside because his bedgown somewhat resembled the surcoat that Damien wore most of the time.
