"You don't hate me for not coming to see you sooner?"
Theodore's smile narrowed when he heard that question from Irene. He heaved a sigh and truthfully replied, "I didn't hate you. But I was sad that none of my siblings ever thought of checking up on me after I fell down to Earth."
"I am so sorry, brother." Irene couldn't stop herself from embracing her brother anymore.
She tightened her grip around Theodore and said, "Initially, I was too afraid to disobey our father. I thought that I would come and visit you when our father's anger calmed down a bit. But I didn't realize that days would turn into months, and months would turn into centuries. By the time things calmed down, I couldn't come knocking on your door because too much time had passed. And I thought that you already hated me for going out of touch for so long."
