Ken lay down on the cold ground of an underground riverside, shivering from the bone-chilling cold. He wondered if this was death, as the freezing temperatures seeped into his very core. It was a stark contrast to the life he had known as a village boy, unaware of his hidden potential. Even he himself was oblivious to the existence of his own unique skill, making him an easy target for the bullies in his village who possessed extraordinary abilities. They considered Ken to be a powerless boy, subjecting him to relentless bullying.
One day, a group of bullies approached Ken with mocking smirks plastered across their faces. "Hey, jerk! Come with us to the cave and help us hunt some monsters," one of the bullies taunted. Fearing the consequences of defying them, Ken reluctantly agreed, afraid of the physical punishment they might inflict upon him if he refused.
Entering the cave, they began slaying low-level goblins with ease. However, the bullies grew bored, deeming these creatures too insignificant for their prowess. Eager for a greater challenge, they ventured deeper into the treacherous depths of the cave. Unbeknownst to them, danger lurked within.
Suddenly, a massive snake emerged from the shadows, its menacing presence filling the cavern. Panic gripped the group as they sprinted away, leaving Ken behind. To ensure he wouldn't catch up, one of the bullies employed wind magic, propelling Ken towards the snake. Helpless, Ken collided with the serpent's scaly body, crashing into the cave wall. Dazed and battered, he caught sight of a gaping hole nearby and, acting purely on instinct, leaped into its unknown depths.
