Chapter 2- New friend : Ellen Davies

Striding into the hallway with my two best friends on each sides, heading toward our locker room.
My locker stands out with Eve and Irene on the other side. You guessed it right, my locker is violet sort of purple in color. I momentarily forgot the password to my locker but eventually it came to me as I punched in the password and shoved my bag carefully.
Turning back to see Irene intensely watching a scene. Let me guess, the school bad boy's girlfriend Sage also the head of the cheerleading team, I am in swimming team. Yeah she has an habit of bully the weak which I can't stand anymore.
"Lee, did you see Sage?. She is at it again, bullying the weak as usual", Irene wrapped her arm around mine shivering at the view.
"Yeah, and I have to do something about it"
The student crowded and watched silently as Sage bullied the long blond haired girl gripping her hair tightly, the weak girl screamed in pain.
"So do you have any plan in mind, cause you can't just go right in there, fight which will lead to chaos and by the way detention", Evelyn analysed before acting out immaturely.
That's why she is always the mature and good thinker among us.
"You're right Eve. What to do, we can't let this keep happening but I have no plan in mind" Irene stated lifting her hand with confused face.
"I think I have", I grinned widely.
Sage has a weakness and that's her dad. Bridget Group is sponsoring his business activities and we are also his 40% partner, I don't think she would want to lose an important business partner.

That's the weak and timid girl's name, we eventually saved her from Sage's wrath with the help of Irene and Eve by threatening her.
"I bet she is gonna lay low for some week", Irene laughed, she recalled me threatening Sage rigorously.
"If I ever see you bullying any student again,I will inform my precious dad to redraw his sponsorship and shares from your not so long bankrupt company", I threatened her not that I wanted to do so but she crossed the line with bullying and I can't just stand and watch.
I don't feel okay with it
Sage gasped in fear with her big round brown eyes.
"And I mean it. Once a Bridget makes a promise they always fullfil it. Watch your back and your daddy's company", I said sarcastically.
"I didn't know you had a baddie in you. I'm so proud of you and of course my training", she sighed and wiped her fake proud tears.
"You're so weird", Evelyn slurred at Irene drama.
"I know and I am so feeling it"
"Ermm... I'm s-sorry to interrupt but I h-have to thank you guys for helping me out there. I really a-appreciate it", Ellen finally completed her sentence stuttering. She smiled weakly and 90 degree bowed.
"Shhh Ellen, it was nothing now let's go and have fun. By the way, you're with us now and don't you dare be scared of anyone we got your back", Irene replied wrapped her arm across Ellen's neck.
Yep, that's Irene for you. Our Social Butterfly.
"Is that supposed to be a threat or you're trying to make her comfortable moron", Eve scoffed walking by her side, I laughed at Irene smudged face.
Irene ignored rolling her eyes "Oh Yes I'm Irene Taylor, that's Evelyn Harris and Kaylee Bridget", she introduced us with Eve waving and I muttered a hi.
She continued and said "You can call Evelyn by Eve, everyone calls Kaylee - Lee and I go by Rene", smiled gently to Ellen.
"What subject are you having first", Evelyn asked as the girl smiled.
"I'm having Physics class first".
"That mean you're with me through out your class", I grinned cheerfully of a new friend to the group.
"Thanks guys, you made my day"
Waving to the girls, Ellen and I waltzed to the other way heading to Physics class "Tell me about yourself"
Ellen stopped in track not saying a word. I guess she is not yet opened and comfortable with me . "You don't have to tell me, I'm okay with that", I instantly gave a reassuring smile.

Bored
Physics class is boring with Ellen so focused on the monitor screen attentively listening to whatever the teacher was saying.
I groaned loudly reached out my phone from my blazer pocket.
I went straight to our group chat on WeChat. I hope Evelyn and Irene are bored as I am.
Guys are you bored cause I am ?? : Me
Rene : Sincerely not only u. I'm freaking bored, the full and untidy beard math teacher is so boring. Like I was literally dosing in class.
Lol : Me
Rene : Wat shld we do ! And where is Eve.
Maybe her class isn't bored as ours : Me
Eve : And who told you that, Lol. Just coming to the chat and my class is super boring.
Rene : LMAO
Lol : Me
Eve : Yeah girls, do you know our package is coming today.
Wow I had no idea, I had forgotten all about it since my last fight with my dad : Me
Rene : Yeah I can't wait for our package arriving. And how was ur argument with ur papi.
It was hard and heated but nothing we couldn't make up for. He apologized this morning and personally drove me to school : Me
Rene : Awwnn so sweet
Lol : Me
Where is Eve : Me
Rene : I think her teacher caught her or busy. I don't know
Okay see you in our hideout after school, my teacher also is suspicious of me later bye : Me
I quickly closed my phone pretending to be listening to whatever the teacher was saying as she eyed me suspiciously.
Well this isn't new.

Time went faster than I expected. It's lunch, striding through the crowded hallway heading towards the lunch room.
I pushed the door opened nothing so special about the cafeteria the same student, more fresher, loud noise, jocks table, cheerleaders, dancers, swimmers, nerd, and so on but most importantly the popular table and guess what Eve, Irene and I created that group table.
Irene's in cheerleading team, Eve in dance team and I am in swimming. So we kind off completed the popular table with some bitchy or jerk student later joined. We had to endure them for some particular time until we were fed up and decided for them to leave, here we are just three of us on popular table.
I sighted Eve and Rene among the crowd and noise, striding towards them was not that much of an hardwork. I reached the table and sat on the bench.
"Hey guys, how was your class" asked making myself comfortable on the bench beside Irene and Eve at her right side.
"You should know how our class went but English was good than the rest", Evelyn replied.
"Yeah yeah yeah whatever, our class was boring. Let's get our food, I'm super quenched and hungry right now".
"Okay, I will order for you guys. What will you like to eat ?".
"Awwwnnn Lee, you're so sweet. I love you"
"Love you too"
"Wait, am I suppose to be a third wheel here"
Irene scoffed and reply "Then what's your job after all", she teased and frantically received a slap on her arm. I chuckled at the drama unfold in front of me.
With so much thought and argument they finally decided what to have. Eve will be having a bacon, turkey rapped sandwich and strawberries smoothie. Irene with brownies and pastries, chocolate smoothie. And I settled with two cupcakes, one muffin and orange juices.
Well, this so called private and prestigious school doesn't need to necessary line up for a long period just to order. Cause we have a lot of set of lunch ladies which doesn't waste a lot of time.
I went to the left side of the cafeteria, waiting in line for the student in front to leave. I noticed Ellen at my back after few seconds, lowering her head looking vulnerable. "Hi Ellen, how was your class", I wave to her.
"It was fine thank you", she gave a faint smile.
"So why don't you come and join us at our table. Sometimes, it's so lonely", giving my best puppy eyes.
She chuckled lowly and agreed. Figured I wouldn't be able to carry all three strays at once, but Ellen helped in carrying the other. We gave Eve and Irene their as we ate silently.
Heck No, Irene wouldn't shut up 'bout how we all have been best of friends and Eve giving her sarcastic replies which Ellen find funny but I'm used to it by now. The drama never ends.
"Please let me eat my cupcakes in peace. Please !!!"
"Nope, you're our friend and you have to bear it"
"I wish I weren't", I muttered under my breath but of course luck wasn't on my side, Irene heard.
"What did you say"
"Nothing ma, I apologise it was my mistake", Irene is so scary when she's pissed off and I won't want to go there at all.
Ellen laughed more with amused expression "You guys are funny also weird, I like you three"
"We also like you too", Eve replied giving a calm smile.
"We're gonna be best of friends Len", Typical Rene already giving nickname and announcing our friendship.
"I hope you're not uncomfortable with by her actions", I asked carefully with soft eyes.
"No, no she is fun to be with and a little weird-" she couldn't complete when Evelyn and I gave a ' What did you say, a little' look.
"Ok okay she is a lot weird", she laughed heartily and I love it. I really want her to be comfortable and open to us.
She looks heartbroken and scared and I desperately want to fix that.
